Shawn was born and raised in Southern California. She is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Developmental Psychology. Teaching then led to business management and she relocated to Denver, Colorado where she was regional manager for a chain of retail stores.
Shawn is the proud mother of twins who have attended Friends Academy since 1999. She has been actively involved with their school on a regular basis.
Shawn's hobbies include: Being with her children, swimming, kayaking, boating and being with friends and family.
